Lead CVT / Hospital Manager
Vetcove Member Since
I am currently the Lead CVT and Hospital Manager at Sackman Animal Hospital. We are a single practitioner canine and feline practice. My current role includes all aspects of being a CVT as well as handling inventory and hospital needs, scheduling, client education, and the day to day operations of the business. I hope to grow our web and social media presence in the near future.
Favorite Vetcove Tip
I love the ability to view the cart and see where I stand with each of my suppliers. I'm still able to give the bulk of my fixed price business to my preferred supplier, save money on the items that vary in price, and toggle through the switch supplier option to meet order minimums or find an in stock item! It's also great to not have to leave Vetcove for checkout anymore!
Favorite Veterinary Life Hack
Short on space for hanging e-collars? Don't want to waste an entire wall for command hooks or nails? We got a garden organizer at our local home improvement store and hung it vertically. The hooks swing out and allow our e-collars to "stack" in a small amount of space and swing out for easy access to each size!
Reasons I love working in the veterinary field
My favorite part of veterinary medicine is interacting with the clients and helping to educate them about their pets needs. I can't imagine not having a direct interaction with both our clients and our patients. It's an often overlooked part of being a tech. There is nothing better than advocating for proper care and building strong client bonds.
