Upgrading Your Account

Visit avma.org/DirectConnect to upgrade your account

As an AVMA member, your veterinary practice or nonprofit is authorized to access Direct Connect. To upgrade your Vetcove account and gain access, you’ll need a valid login to the members-area of the AVMA website. It takes about 60 seconds to complete the upgrade process. Simply follow these instructions:

Log-in to the AVMA website

Expand the Economics & Practice dropdown

Click on the AVMA Direct Connect option and you’ll be re-directed to the Vetcove website

Confirm the account you’d like to upgrade by entering your Vetcove username and password. If you do not yet have a Vetcove account, you’ll create one now.

When the upgrade is successful, you’ll see AVMA branding and messaging upon login on the dashboard.

In order to make use of the AVMA Direct Connect provided by Vetcove, at least one veterinarian in the organization must be an AVMA member in good standing. AVMA members and affiliated parties that wish to utilize the Vetcove Services must agree to Vetcove's Terms of Use and all community guidelines set forth by Vetcove. Any user that breaches the Terms of Use, or whose activities are deemed harmful to Vetcove, AVMA, or other Vetcove users, may be denied access to Vetcove's services at Vetcove's sole discretion at any time.
