Job Description

We're looking for an experienced candidate to help us bring animal health companies onto our platform, and to make other strategic partnerships in the sector.

In this position you will define and drive an end-to-end acquisition funnel of animal health companies. Vetcove is looking for a competitive self-starter who can develop the partner list, create a winning pitch, take it on the road, and come home with signed agreements. The ideal candidate will be excited by the challenge of identifying, connecting and contracting with key decision makers inside these very large organizations. The candidate will be negotiating with a wide array of people on the other side of the table, so very strong interpersonal skills are a must. The candidate will be starting long term commercial relationships, and but also maintaining them once they are contracted. Vetcove is in this for the long haul. The candidate must be tenacious and passionate about the sector.

The ideal candidate has a mix of the following experience and skills:

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Some veterinary or medical knowledge
  • Tech/start-up work experience
  • Experience with B2B sales and contracts

The compensation is a starting point, and Vetcove will balance compensation and individual contribution as personal and company goals are met and the overall business grows. A bonus of 20% to 200% will be available based on performance hurdles.
