About Us

Join our growing team at Vetcove and help us transform how veterinarians buy the supplies they need to keep America's pets healthy. Vetcove's eCommerce and mobile platforms enable veterinary practices to compare and buy from all of their vendors in one place. Our community of more than 19,000 veterinary hospitals employs tens of thousands of veterinarians, and delivers care to many millions of animals every year across all 50 states.

We’re a growing team on a mission to modernize the $8B/year U.S. veterinary procurement industry. Simply put, Vetcove helps veterinary organizations spend more time giving care, and less time shopping and comparing across vendors to supply their practices. We're completely revolutionizing the way veterinarians discover and buy products, and how animal health brands engage their veterinary customers.

We're looking for exceptionally talented and passionate people to join our growing team. Job Description

We're looking for an highly-motivated data analyst to be key contributor across many functional areas of our business. He or she will draw powerful insights and patterns from large data sets. These insights will help our team optimize strategy, and help our partners achieve incredible results using Vetcove's data-driven platform.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a competitive self-starter who can proactively analyze billions of dollars in order data across thousands of hospitals, and a stream of tens of thousands of new orders placed daily. A successful candidate will be able to draw meaningful and actionable insights from these data. Insights will be crucial for optimizing Vetcove's growth strategy, helping our corporate hospital groups minimize costs and optimize behaviors, and aiding our manufacturing partners in driving sales through optimized audience targeting and dynamic customer offers.

Vetcove is aggregating historical and real-time purchase data, centralizing it, and making it available for analysis for the first time ever. The ideal candidate will be excited by the challenge of being the first to really dig into the data from a B2B industry that has been historically slow to use any data-driven insight to drive behavior. His or her background should include a track record of quantitative analysis, whether that's with MS excel, stat packages like R or SAS, data manipulation in Python, or other methods of drawing insights. More than anything, we're looking for an incredibly talented analytical person that's excited about discovering meaning within data that can be used to change the course of decision-making in our ecosystem. The ability to communicate complex quantitative results to less data-savvy stakeholders, both internally and externally, is a huge plus.

The ideal candidate has a mix of the following experience and skills: - Ability to build and execute an effective approach to a variety of unstructured problems - Ability to process large amounts of quantitative and qualitative information - Ability to draw creative insights based on independent analysis - Expertise in Excel or other programming languages (Python, R, etc.) a plus - An analytical approach and problem solving abilities - Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
