Join our growing team at Vetcove in New York City, and help us bring animal health purchasing into the digital age. More than 3,000 veterinary hospitals, serving many thousands of veterinarians and millions of animals, rely on our innovative services to keep America's pets healthy. Vetcove recently participated in the Summer (S16) Y Combinator batch, and raised a significant seed round from notable venture capitalists in Silicon Valley and NYC. Vetcove is a growing team on a mission to modernize the $7B/year U.S. veterinary procurement industry. Simply put, Vetcove helps veterinary organizations spend more time giving care, and less time shopping and comparing across vendors to supply their practices. We're completely revolutionizing the way veterinarians discover and buy the products, and how animal health brands engage their veterinary customers.
Our pet-friendly offices are located in the heart of NYC on Madison Avenue. We're looking for exceptionally talented and passionate people to join our growing team. If you're seeking an exciting challenge and want to take this journey with us, email email@example.com.
We're looking for two exceptional interns to join our team in New York City for 3-6 month internships. This is an opportunity to be a part of an exciting and quickly growing startup, and to work directly with (and learn from) the founders. An ideal candidate recently graduated from (or is on break from) a four-year university or graduate program. This is a paid position, and if desired, you'll be considered for a full-time role with us at the end of the program.
Responsibilities may include a mix of the following:
Depending on your personal interest, you may be assigned primarily a marketing focus, business development focus, or product focus. Since we believe internships are about learning, we'd like to expose you to new areas as well.
Since we are an eCommerce platform, we expect all interns to be computer-savvy (either PC or Mac) and be familiar with buying online and price comparison sites (places like Amazon, Kayak, etc.). A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and major social media platforms like Facebook/Twitter is required as well. We aren't so concerned with what classes you've taken or your experience thus far. It's more important to us that you're smart, hardworking, professional, trustworthy, and willing to learn.
Since we're considering interns in various functional aspects of our business, experience in any of the following may help us consider you for a role with us: Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, Web Design, Graphic Design, and Web development. If you've had any experience with veterinary care or animal health, that's a nice bonus (but not required).
One brief reference (eg. letter or recommendation or phone call) will be required. Apply here, or to grab our attention email us directly at "firstname.lastname@example.org" with your resume and why you feel like you're a fit for our team. We look forward to hearing from you!
