Job Description

Our ideal candidate is an upbeat, personable, and incredibly organized person that's excited to lead and organize the recruitment function for a small (but quickly-growing), high-performing team. Your primary role will be to identify, source, screen, and help us close A+ candidates across all operational areas of the business. The right person will thrive in a data driven, “all hands on deck" environment, loves finding solutions to problems, and and can move quickly while paying attention to detail. An ideal candidate is excited about talking to all kinds of people–from new grads to senior engineering managers–and winning them over. The candidate will also have a critical eye for determining if a prospective hire is a good fit for our team and culture.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Evaluate, develop, and manage our candidate sourcing channels;
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of candidates for all open roles;
  • Schedule and conduct a high volume of phone, video, and onsite interviews;
  • Screen and evaluate candidates at all levels to ensure fit with the Vetcove culture;
  • Coordinate with candidates and internal team members to organize and schedule interviews;
  • Develop strong relationships with candidates and act as a partner and advocate throughout the hiring process;
  • Ensure that every candidate has a positive experience with Vetcove, regardless of hiring outcome;
  • Organize and book travel, conduct reference checks, and manage offer documents;
  • Lead new employee onboarding to deliver exceptional day-one experience;
  • Spearhead special projects and assist the operations team as needed.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, human resources, or a related field (new grads welcome);
  • Experience (or internships) in a recruitment-focused or operations-focused role;
  • Exhibits impressive ways of staying organized and has the ability to prioritize effectively;
  • Passion for the candidate experience and finding ways to enhance and better the experience;
  • Experience with Google Applications (Google Calendar, Gmail, and Drive) and/or MS Office;
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-first, "can do" attitude and willingness to assist with projects outside of HR as needed.
