New York, NY Full Time $50K-$75K

About Us

Join our growing team at Vetcove in New York City, and help us transform how veterinarians buy the supplies they need to keep America's pets healthy. Vetcove's eCommerce and mobile platforms enable veterinary practices to compare and buy from all of their vendors in one place. Our community of more than 7,000 veterinary hospitals employs tens of thousands of veterinarians, and delivers care to many millions of animals every year across all 50 states.

We’re a growing team on a mission to modernize the $8B/year U.S. veterinary procurement industry. Simply put, Vetcove helps veterinary organizations spend more time giving care, and less time shopping and comparing across vendors to supply their practices. We're completely revolutionizing the way veterinarians discover and buy products, and how animal health brands engage their veterinary customers.

Vetcove is a Y Combinator and venture-backed growth stage company with notable investors in Silicon Valley and NYC. Our offices are located in the heart of Manhattan at 515 Madison Avenue. We're looking for exceptionally talented and passionate people to join our growing team. If you're seeking an exciting challenge and interested in taking this journey with us, email us at

Job Description

At Vetcove, we pride ourselves on the amazing team we’ve built. The driver behind all of our growth, our bold and disruptive brand, and the game changing technology we bring to market, is our people. The right person will thrive in a data driven, “all hands on deck" environment, loves finding solutions to problems, and and can move quickly while paying attention to detail. An ideal candidate is excited about talking to all kinds of people–from new grads to senior engineering managers–and winning them over. The candidate will also have a critical eye for determining if a prospective hire is a good fit for our team and culture.

  • Evaluate, develop, and manage our candidate sourcing channels;
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of candidates for all open roles;
  • Schedule and conduct a high volume of phone, video, and onsite interviews;
  • Screen and evaluate candidates at all levels to ensure fit with the Vetcove culture;
  • Coordinate with candidates and internal team members to organize and schedule interviews;
  • Develop strong relationships with candidates and act as a partner and advocate throughout the hiring process;
  • Ensure that every candidate has a positive experience with Vetcove, regardless of hiring outcome;
  • Organize and book travel, conduct reference checks, and manage offer documents;
  • Lead new employee onboarding to deliver exceptional day-one experience;
  • Spearhead special projects and assist the operations team as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, human resources, or a related field (new grads welcome);
  • Experience (or internships) in a recruitment-focused or operations-focused role;
  • Exhibits impressive ways of staying organized and has the ability to prioritize effectively;
  • Passion for the candidate experience and finding ways to enhance and better the experience;
  • Experience with Google Applications (Google Calendar, Gmail, and Drive) and/or MS Office;
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-first, "can do" attitude and willingness to assist with projects outside of HR as needed.
